Site Strategy
Before an architect draws anything, decide where on the land the house belongs. We read your parcel's terrain, water, and wind and recommend where the house, drive, and outbuildings should go.
What the brief covers
- Terrain: elevation and slope classes, under 15%, 15–30%, and over 30%.
- Water: surface flow paths, where runoff concentrates, mapped flood and wetland areas.
- Wind: prevailing winds by season and how the terrain shelters the site.
- Access: main drive alignment, grades, and service access.
- Building zones compared side by side, with a list for your architect, civil engineer, and surveyor to confirm.

Briefs come in English, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese. Where the feng shui chapter and the site findings disagree, the site findings take priority and the brief explains why.

- Options reviewAbout 90 minutes with you and your architect or planner to compare two to three siting options and choose a direction.
- Final walkthroughAbout 60 minutes with you and your design team on the final brief and open questions before design begins.
Site visits, drawing revisions, and construction services are not included.
