Questions and scope
What we cover, what we don't, and how the reviews work.
When can I buy the Contractor Checklist?
Our store is finishing setup. Leave your email on the checklist page and we'll write the day it's available.
Is this a home inspection or a survey?
No. A home inspector examines the building, and a licensed surveyor establishes boundaries. Our reviews look at the site and its surroundings using public data and tell you which items a licensed professional should confirm.
Do I need the feng shui chapter?
Only if it matters to you. It is optional, kept apart from the site findings, and labeled as cultural interpretation. The rest of the report stands on its own.
Which languages are reports available in?
Property Review and Site Strategy come in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The Contractor Checklist is in English.
Do you cover Canada?
The Contractor Checklist covers the United States and Canada. Property Review and Site Strategy will launch for U.S. properties first.
Scope and limitations
WellSited reports are informational reviews prepared to support your own decision-making. They are based on publicly available data, documents you provide, and observations available at the time of preparation.
They are not an engineering, structural, geotechnical, or drainage design; a land survey or boundary determination; a home inspection, appraisal, or valuation; or legal, real estate, financial, or insurance advice. Any finding about structure, drainage, flooding, boundaries, soils, or code compliance should be confirmed by an appropriately licensed professional in your jurisdiction before you rely on it.
Public data may be incomplete, outdated, or too coarse to capture site-specific conditions. Where included, the traditional feng shui chapter is a cultural interpretation and is not an assessment of safety, value, or health. Your local codes and the advice of your licensed professionals take precedence.
